The races will start between 9:30 and 10:15. Please come by 9am, so you can register for the race timely and get ready for the run with the trainer who will lead the stretching excercise.
Healthy Food for lunch
Great news for all those who wish to stay healthy and would like to try RAW FOOD.
We are going to order food from the famous restaurant THE SECRET OF RAW (located in Seifertova, P3-Zizkov) every day during summer and occasionally during winter too.
Should you want to join us, please send an email with your order (daily menu or normal menu) to Pavla Vinklarova before 10:30 AM on the day when you wish to join for the lunch. Once confirmed, the food will be delivered between 12:30-13:30 to Lux Plaza. You can pay in cash or via Flexxtyle. Additional cost of packaging will be charged (~15-20CZK per meal) but will be free of charge for SC members.

Photography Workshop - beginners
This course is intended for beginner photographers who wish to improve their skills with cameras, which can operate on manual or semi-manual mode.

Collection for ZOO - Hornbill
The funds raised will be used by the Zoo to improve the life conditions of that animal. Social Club will receive a Certificate of Adoption and there will be a plaque with the our name and logo at the exposition of the Great Hornbill for one whole year.

Photography Workshop - Portraiture
This course is intended for beginners or intermediate photographers who would wish to improve their PORTAITURE skills with cameras, which can operate on manual or semi-manual mode.
The course consists of 4 lessons of theory in class and then also some homework to be completed on your own and this will be then evaluated in the class.
The course will be delievered by professional photographer from PVM institute.
We will start on Tuesday, Feb-28, at 18.00 in B_580. Please, register here and do not forget to bring your cameras with you.
Price for SC members is 1.750 CZK / whole course (4x lesson, 18:00-21:00) and price for others (non-members) will be 2.200 CZK for the whole course (4x lesson, 18:00-21:00). Each participant needs to register for the whole course.

We are very proud to invite you to the next Photography classes. Sessions available every WEDNESDAY (upon order) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Schedule during the working hours, but it must be excluded from your working hours! If you go for treatment during the day, you always need to stay in the office longer that day.

Meeting with MammaHelp representatives and ladies who suffered from Breast Cancer in the past. They will talk about their experience, they will mention how important is prevention and how they made it through the whole curative process. Feel free to come to ask the questions and discuss..

Yoga promolesson

On Wednesday, 18 November 2009 there are three different sessions planned at 12:30, 17:00 and 18:30 in Palace Flora (A_554). Only sessions with full capacity (10-15 participants) will take place!

76. Velka Kunraticka - Cross running race

Cross Race Hradek 3100m (main race) = 3 steep hills, a lot of creeping uphill and sliding down the hill :-), we cross a little river, mud and you will not look very esthetic after the race, but it is a lot of fun. Where: In Kunraticky Les, close to Dolnomlýnský Rybník, registration point at Krale Vaclave IV. street. You will get there by Bus 114 from Kacerov Metro C, Bus 122 from Chodov Metro C, Bus 177, get off at Bus Stop " U kunratického lesa", walk down the hill, you will see a lot of people so follow the crowd.
Registration: For those who are not registered and would still want to participate, there are starting numbers on sale from 7am on the day of the race. There are only 50 available for the main race (men - Hradek). For ohter races (women, childern unlimited number of starting numbers is available).
Starting times differ as per age, time of registration etc, so no common meeting with SC representative is organized. Those runners, who have already registered, can find the starting time on the website.

In the Tea ceremony are expressed teachings of Zen by the uniqueness and unrepeatable experience of the meeting between the guest and the host that should take place in the state of peaceful mind and in the atmosphere of modest and simple beauty. The essence of the Tea ceremony is then expressed by its four basic principles: wa - harmony, kei - respect, sei - purity, jaku - peacefulness.
Lubomir will show a short part of traditional tea ceremony wearing traditional Japanese clothes “kimono”, using traditional tools and green powder tea matcha.

Collection for Jesenik - FLOODS
As additional support, BSC management in Prague decided to double final collected amount by BSC staff and also to cover transportation costs of delivering the collected goods to impacted area.
The things were sent to Jesenik nad Odrou on Saturday, July-11 (see pictures here).
And the collection of CASH finished by July 22, 2009. The remaining amount will be doubled and sent to People in Need Organization bank account in next days.

The sixth PMN will again invite Prague citizens and tourists to attractive visits of many cultural institutions of the metropolis - museum,s galleries, cultural monuments and other sites. This year 25 cultural instituions and 51 other sites will be opened.
